Description: This refreshing South African white wine is truly a successful blend. On the one hand, Chenin Blanc is the true standard-bearer of winemaking on the Dark Continent. It has a distinct acidity with a pleasant outline of flowers and ripe fruit. On the other, the Pinot Grigio brings lightness and light-heartedness to the blend. The result is a wine with a strong "appeal", with notes of apple and melon and clear hints of white flowers. On the palate, however, it is distinctly savoury and fresh, well supported by a long persistence.
