Since its establishment in 2010, Spades Wines & Spirits has steadily grown into one of Malta’s leading importers and distributors of premium wines and spirits. Under the direction of founder Andrew Forace, the company has been built on a foundation of quality, authenticity, and a deep passion for exceptional products.

Andrew's journey began with over twelve years of hands-on experience in the food and retail sector, gained through various family-run businesses. This background provided him with a unique understanding of evolving market trends and consumer expectations. Fueled by this insight, he launched Spades Trading initially focused on introducing international detergent brands to the local market. As the business grew in popularity and its customer base expanded, Spades evolved into a respected and trusted name in the Maltese import and distribution sector.

Over time, the company refined its focus, transitioning to the exclusive importation and distribution of high-quality wines and spirits. Today, Spades Wines & Spirits leverages a global network of trusted suppliers to consistently deliver exceptional products tailored to the tastes of Malta’s dynamic and curious consumers.

To support growing demand and provide a more immersive customer experience, Spades Wines & Spirits opened its first picking warehouse in Mriehel in October 2021. This space serves as both a fulfillment center for online orders and a physical retail outlet, allowing clients to explore our diverse and ever-expanding selection in person.
