Description: A beautiful dark and luminous purple colour. Its nose develops aromas of red and black fruits (currant, blackberry, blueberry), velvety and fresh, which evolve towards notes of chocolate, leather and pepper. On the palate, the tannins are both powerful and harmonious. Very nice final.
Today, Domaine Faiveley owns 12 hectares of Grands Crus and 27 hectares of Premiers Crus, three of which have a monopoly: the Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru "Clos des Issarts", the Beaune Premier Cru "Clos de l'Ecu" and the essential Corton Grand Cru "Clos des Cortons Faiveley".
At Domaine Faiveley, the average surface area of each appellation is approximately one hectare, which is remarkable in Burgundy, where more than 1,200 climats are found. Each wine is therefore produced in relatively limited quantities. This precision makes it possible to appreciate the true value of the privilege of their tasting.
