Gusano Rojo is a young white mezcal that is made with 100% Agave Espadín. Ideal to drink alone and cold, in combination with citrus soft drinks or with a delicious sangria
The name Gusano Rojo (red worm) is due to the fact that the plant that is harvested for the production of mezcal, the agave, sometimes breeds "worms" inside it. This worm is considered a delicacy with aphrodisiac properties in Oaxaca (Mexico).
Tasting notes: Transparent and bright color, Aromas of cooked and lightly smoked maguey leaves, On the palate slightly sweet and smoky.
