Woodford Reserve Wheat Bottling Note
The Woodford Reserve team has gone and made its very own wheat whiskey! If you like your whiskeys to be wonderfully creamy with a good helping of fruity sweetness to them, you've come to the right place. This expression is made with a mash bill of 52% wheat, 20% malt, 20% corn and 8% rye, leading to a satisfying flavour profile that should do well sipped neat or in cocktails.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Soft vanilla and cinnamon, with banana fritters and brown sugar.
Palate: More vanilla, now with a hint of citrus blossom and milk chocolate. Still got that banana fritter fruitiness, though with some green apple too.
Finish: Lasting chocolatey notes, plus some spiced fruit.
