- Producer Tasting Notes: Pronounced nose of fruit and flowers, with lovely freshness and a few mineral touches. Generous palate, with lovely roundness.
Food Pairing: Oysters, Goat Cheese, Cauliflower Soup, Smoked Trout, Pork Tenderloin, Grouper, and Sushi.
Description: This wine's intriguing nose combines rich candlewax with bright lemon oil. The palate is rounded and smooth, with buffered freshness on the midpalate. It is here that the sense of chalky depth comes in, conveying a stony, austere hinterland for which 2018's generous fruit is mere window dressing. With its depth, the wine expresses the vintage beautifully. Drink by 2040.
