Description: Villa Maria 's Private Bin Pinot Noir is an elegant, grape-varietal red wine from the New Zealand Marlborough wine region on the South Island. In the glass, this wine shines in a bright ruby red with cherry-red highlights. The bouquet reveals the grape variety typical aromas of ripe heart cherries and lush red berry fruit (especially raspberry and red currant) - accompanied by fine hints of spices and wild herbs. This New Zealand red wine also reflects the clear pinot fruit on the palate and is supported by a gentle tannin structure. The tannins give this wine a wonderful structure - but the red fruit fullness remains in the foreground. The long finale is accompanied by finely spicy accents.
