Description: A fabulous second wine of Ornellaia.  A classic Super Tuscan with great complexity. Masses of ripe round fruit, red berries on the nose and darker plummy fruit in the mouth. Notes of lavender and herbs. Tannins are smooth and the structure is firm and perfectly balanced with lovely freshness and a mineral kick on the finish, displaying wonderful purity and depth of flavour of plum, mocha, espresso and dark cherries. This is a beautiful, virile wine, endowed with considerable power and elegance.
