Grape variety: 100% Tempranillo
Origin: D.O.Ca Rioja, selected vineyards in the Rioja Alta area.
PRODUCTION AND AGEING
Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 26°C, with a maceration period of 20 days with the grape skins. The second fermentation occurs naturally in our underground cellars. The wine is then transferred to traditional oak casks to begin the 24-month ageing process, followed by a 16-month refining period in the bottle.
COLOR: Clean and bright. Intense cherry red with a reddish rim.
AROMA AND TASTE: Spiced notes, vanilla and dark fruits combined with hints of licorice and mint. Good structure and elegant tannins with a long aftertaste.
To accompany grilled or barbecued red meat, all kinds of stews and casseroles, including mildly spicy dishes. It is a fresh wine with a certain potency, which also makes it a perfect partner for a wide range of cheeses
