Description
Quaglia Grappa Amarone is a premium Italian grappa produced by Antica Distilleria Quaglia, crafted from selected pomace of Amarone della Valpolicella grapes. These grapes (typically Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara) are originally used to produce Amarone wine, giving the spirit a rich and distinctive aromatic profile.
This grappa is distilled using traditional methods and then aged in French oak barrels, allowing it to develop complexity, smoothness, and a refined amber colour.
On the nose, it is intense and elegant, with notes of dried fruits such as figs, raisins, and toasted nuts, complemented by hints of vanilla, cocoa, and sweet spices from the oak ageing.
On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, and well-balanced, offering a soft, rounded texture with flavours of dried fruit, caramel, and gentle spice. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant, smooth warmth.
