Descriptions:
The Riesling trocken from Nik Weis St. Urbans-Hof in the German wine-growing region of Mosel is an easy-drinking, authentic and varietal white wine.
In the glass, this wine shines in a light straw yellow with greenish highlights. The nose is treated to a varietal bouquet of tropical fruit, crisp green Granny Smith apples and apricot - perfectly complemented by mineral hints. On the palate, this German white wine convinces with a juicy body, beautiful fruit fullness and animating drinking flow. The ripe acidity shapes the structure. A wonderful harmony emerges, giving this Mosel Riesling a certain depth that extends into the finish.
Around the winery, Riesling grapes grow on flatter and sloping vineyard sites. The vine age is between 40 and 70 years.
As soon as the grapes arrive at the winery of St. Urbans-Hof, they are fermented spontaneously in stainless steel tanks. Aging also takes place exclusively in stainless steel tanks.
