Description: The Primo Bianco Vermentino di Sardegna DOC is born on the gentle hills of Sulcis , a complete expression of a land kissed by the sun and caressed by the wind. The Mesa winery is located in Sant'anna Arresi, in a valley sheltered from the mistral and surrounded by the typical rural villages that dot south-western Sardinia. In Sardinian, the term "mesa" indicates the table and in fact the production of the cellar is a clear declaration of love to Sardinia and in particular to Sulcis Iglesiente. First White Vermentino of Sardinia DOC it is obtained from Vermentino grapes harvested in early September on predominantly sandy soil. The clusters are treated with the utmost care, so much so that the use of mechanical pumps is banned and the grapes are moved by natural fall from the upper floors of the cellar to those below. After aging in underground rooms and 2 months of aging in the bottle, this young, ready-to-drink wine can accompany the most refined aperitifs and reveal the treasures of its homeland.
