Nocino Bottling Note
There is no mistaking the key ingredient in this Italian liqueur – walnuts! Nocino is a brown liqueur from the Emilia-Romagna region in northern Italy, made from unripe green walnuts. The nuts are cut into quarters and left to macerate with alcohol, sugar and water for nine months. The result is an intensely nutty liqueur with a deliciously bittersweet finish.
