This is The Glenturret7 Years Old Peat Smoked, a gently peated whisky aged in Refill, American and European Oak casks and bottled at 48.4% ABV. It's got a smoky, sweet character and is a good intro to peated single malts.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Aromatic dried apple and citrus fruits. Peat smoke mingles with vanilla. Sweet fruit and darker smoke with hints of sea salt meander to a warm embracing finish.
