Ferruccio Sgubin Merlot Collio DOC (75 cl) is a richly coloured, full-bodied red wine from the Collio hills of Friuli-Venezia Giulia made from 100 % Merlot that typically exhibits deep ruby hues and an aromatic nose of ripe black fruits like blackberry and plum with savoury accents of violet, truffle, spice and subtle graphite; on the palate it’s layered and well-balanced with velvety tannins, notable freshness and a long, complex finish that reflects careful oak ageing.
