Description : This Valpolicella Classico from the Pruviniano Collection comes from the vineyards of the Domìni Veneti estate located in the hamlet of Prognol, in Marano della Valpolicella, in lands once referred to as Pruviniano.
The grape harvest period coincides with the end of September and the beginning of October. Vinification involves fermentation with maceration on the skins for 10 days, at a temperature of 25-28°C. The wine is aged in stainless steel and then in bottle for 12 months.
The Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore Collezione Pruviniano is a dry red wine with a subtle elegance and a spiciness that reflects its origins in the Marano valleys of the Valpolicella Classica area. Excellent with traditional Veronese first courses and cured meats, it is undoubtedly an authentic Valpolicella Superiore that delights the senses with its fruity aromas of cherry and currant, floral notes of violet, and spicy notes of pepper, nutmeg, and ginger. The flavor is fresh, lively, dry, and persistent thanks to a well-balanced finish and fine tannins.
