Description:
Chateau Sociando‑Mallet is located on an exceptional terroir north of Pauliac, as an Haut-Médoc appellation. The vines are planted on a terroir of gravel from the Gunz era and a subsoil of clay and limestone. 90% aged in new barrels for 12 months, the result is a silky and intense wine that will delight wine connoisseurs and beginners. A non-classified wine, but extraordinary. On the nose, complex aromas of blackcurrant, dark chocolate and leather with hints of vanilla and clove. A structured and balanced palate, with lots of freshness, depth and well-integrated oak. It has good ageing potential. We will discover its full potential with a little patience!
It is characterised by its power and complexity. On the nose, it offers an intense bouquet of black fruits, with mineral and floral notes. In the mouth, it is rich and harmonious, with ripe tannins providing structure. The finish is long and persistent, making it a wine of great elegance and character
