Description: Château d'Issan ‘Blason d’Issan’ is the elegant second wine from this historic Margaux estate in Margaux, crafted from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon that reflects the finesse and balance of its terroir. The 2016 vintage displays a deep garnet colour with purple highlights and offers a fragrant nose of ripe black and red fruits like cassis, cherry and blueberry, underscored by subtle floral, tobacco and cedar notes. On the palate it is medium- to full-bodied with harmonious, silky tannins, fine acidity and good length, showing both fruit intensity and refined structure.
