Roasted or grilled red meats like ribeye, sirloin or lamb pair beautifully with its firm tannins and dark fruit character, while game dishes such as venison or roasted duck enhance its complexity.
Description: Château Clerc-Milon is a classic Pauillac Bordeaux blend that beautifully balances power, elegance, and complexity. Crafted from predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and a touch of Carmenère, this wine shows a deep garnet-purple colour and aromatic layers of blackcurrant, wild blueberries, violet, spice, graphite and cigar box that unfold with airing. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with muscular yet refined tannins, fresh acidity and flavours of dark fruit, cherry stone, cocoa and mineral-tinged finish that lingers long and perfumed — a style that will continue to evolve with age and is well-suited to cellaring.
