A family know-how

The history of the Baron Albert Champagne begins with Albert Baron and his wife, Beatrice.

Both descendants of Champagne winegrowing families, they are the first to turn their grapes into Champagne wines. Following them, their sons Gilbert, Gervais and Claude took over the family business. Today, it is Claude's daughters: Claire, Lise and Aline, who perpetuate the know-how of their grandparents, uncles and father, producing an exceptional wine: the Baron Albert Champagne. .

Preserving traditions while respecting the environment

The Baron sisters cultivate their vines in a way that respects the soil and the environment. Convinced that the future of wine is based on respect of the land, the Baron Albert House has developed reasoned viticulture methods that ensure the sustainability of their soils.

These practices, which respect the fauna and flora, are applied to the entire Baron Albert champagne vineyard, i.e. 7 large Champagne villages: Charly-sur-Marne, Pavant, Porteron, Domptin, Azy-sur-Marne, Villiers-Saint-Denis and Crouttes-sur-Marne. This desire to preserve the environment has led the company to be awarded the Sustainable Viticulture and "HVE" (High Environmental Value) certifications in 2016. Both certifications reward the efforts this family House has put forth to protect the ecosystem.
