Description: The barrel-aged Tignanello Toscana from the wine-growing region of Tuscany presents itself in the glass in bright crimson, ruby red. When you swirl the wine glass, you can perceive a perfect balance with this red wine, because it is not watery, syrupy or liqueur-like on the glass walls. This Tenuta Tignanello red wine presents the nose with all sorts of blackberries, mulberries, blueberries and black currants. As if that weren't already impressive, further aromas such as dark chocolate, gingerbread spice and vanilla are added by aging in small wooden barrels. On the palate, the Tignanello Toscana from Tenuta Tignanello opens pleasantly dry, non-slip and aromatic. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully silky, smooth, velvety and dense. The finale of this very aging red wine from the wine-growing region of Tuscany, more precisely from Toscana IGT, finally convinces with an extraordinary aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the soil, which is dominated by marl and slate.
This Italian is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to spicy lamb curry, spaghetti with caper and tomato sauce or duck breast with snow peas.
