Aberlour Triple Cask Bottling Note
The Triple Cask expression from Aberlour is a whisky you're more likely to find in mainland Europe, though we're rather happy that these bottles have made their way to us! As the name suggests, Triple Cask is made with whisky drawn from three varieties of cask - bourbon barrels, bourbon hogsheads and Oloroso sherry casks. Should make for a grand digestif.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Custard Cream biscuits, milky coffee and strawberries.
Palate: Now it's Jammy Dodgers a tea rather than Custard Creams and coffee! Underlying black pepper heat and a touch of honey.
Finish: Dried fruit and peanut butter notes.
