Courvoisier VS Double Oak Bottling Note
This expression from world-famous Cognac house Courvoisier was made with a rather interesting maturation – it was initially aged in new Limousin oak casks, before then being moved over to older casks to finish its maturation. Hence the name Double Oak. A neat twist on the classic VS expression, with well-rounded vanilla and oak notes taking centre stage.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Honeycomb, floral vanilla, green apple, orange jelly sweeties, a subtle whiff of cassia and nutmeg leading into a warming, oaky finish.
